A version of the classic using Walking Liberty halves and Australian One Cent coins. We made a small run of these in the Martinka shop and they really turned out gorgeous. The vintage design of the Australian cents provides a great contrast to the silver Walking Liberty.
The effect is that a Walking Liberty half and a large copper cent are shown in the hand. The copper cent is removed and placed in your pocket, but magically returns. Next the silver coin is removed and that too magically returns, lastly the copper coin is removed and when the hand is opened instead of the silver coin, there is nothing!
This is a four piece set, it includes the three coin gimmick and a matching ungimmicked Walking Liberty. A Walking Liberty expanded shell is NOT included, if you have one and add it to the set, you can have the coin return an additional time in the above routine. Though, I prefer just the 3 phases as described above.
These coins can also be used for sun and moon effects where a copper coin and a silver coin visually change places. There are many routines in print.
