First day cover with Houdini stamp as issued by the US Post Office in 2002. Also includes and unused pane of 20 Houdini stamps. Sealed in the original wrap as issued by the USPS. The Houidini stamp is a bit unusual as it has a built in secret, when held up to a uv light, chains appear around him!
Houdini was president of Martinka in 1919. We attended the ceremony when this stamp was unveiled in New York City on July 3, 2002. At the time, we secured a small quantity of these sets and are now making them available here. Add one to your collection before they disappear!
