This beautiful set includes a no distortion tail side expanded shell made from a soft silver Morgan dollar and also a matching ungimmicked Morgan dollar. While most expanded shells are made with the head side there are some advantages to using tails. You do not have to worry about date discrepancies, the tails side is much easier to match to other coins, and routining, situations where you want to start with heads, turn over and wind up with the tails shell.
